POPLAR BLUFF -- Joe Bone, 76, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, at Doctors Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 4, 1919, in Mineral Point. He married Dorothy E. Palmer in Hillsboro on June 6, 1942.
He was retired from the Floresheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Edward H. Bond of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dairs "Pete" Bond of Barnhart; three daughters, Shirley Ethridge and Jean Miller, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Linda Harper of Festus; two brothers, Harold Bone of DeSoto and Dairs Bone of Festus; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, with the Rev. Lynn Ham officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
