Jenkins had lived in Albuquerque since 1961.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Douglas Jenkins; a daughter, Vickie Avant, both of Albuquerque; a sister, Jean Griggs of Bosque Farms, N.M.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
