Jo Anne Fornkohl

Jo Anne Fornkohl, 69, departed this life Thursday, April 23, 2020.

She was a resident at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. Jo Anne was the daughter of Huey and Joyce Heise.

She attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High with the class of 1969. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Florsheim Shoe for many years and later worked as a home health caregiver.

Jo Anne was preceded by her parents and infant daughter, Angela Fornkohl.

She is survived by a brother, Kent (Jean) Heise; niece, Rachel Greb; nephew, Aaron Heise; and cousin, Don (Betty Lou) Vogel.

Due to current gathering restrictions, there will not be a service at this time. She will be laid to rest near her daughter and parents in Cape County Memorial Park.
