THEBES, Ill. -- Jimmie White, 66, of Thebes died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 11, 1937, in Qulin, Mo., son of John and Lela Worthington White. He and Deloris Bryant were married June 7, 1958.
White worked 18 years at Unimin, and had been a steel painter.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Billy White of Olive Branch, Ill., Gary White of Jackson, Victor White of Thebes; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Monahan officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
