Jimmie C. Poe, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 13, 1923, in Arkansas, to Charles and Sally Winters Cooper.
Jimmie was a waitress at Colonial Restaurant and Sunny Hill Restaurant in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1986. She was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Billy) Sisco of Cape Girardeau; a son, James D. Poe Jr. of Cape Girardeau; two granddaughters, Debbie Lynn Sisco and Kathy Allene Sisco; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Watkins and Nathan Watkins; a great-great-grandchild, Logan Watkins; and a sister, Joann Brown of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Keith Sisco; two brothers; and five sisters.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Cape County Memorial Park, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
