RANDLES, Mo. -- Jimmie D. Little, 70, of Randles, Mo., died Saturday Sept. 3, 2011 at the family home after a brief illness surrounded by those he loved.

He was born June 15, 1941, at Sikeston, Mo., to John and Janey Moss Little. He married Barbara Moore on Feb. 25, 1961.

Jimmie and Barbara loved to square dance. He spent a lot of his time in his garden and loved to share his garden bounty. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local 513.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Jimmy Joe Little and Danny Ray (Melody) Little, both of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Chanda (Dwight) Lusk of Jamestown, Mo.; eight grandsons; one stepgranddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Visitation is at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Mo.
