ORAN, Mo. -- Jim Schram, 66, of Oran died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Oran, son of Albert Adam and Clara T. Ziegler Schram.
Mr. Schram was a graduate of St. Denis Grade School in Benton, Mo., and Oran High School.
He was a cable installer with Erlbacher Construction Co., and operated a cattle ranch the last 30 years. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton and Teamsters Union.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Mary Jane Schram of Scott City; a nephew, Jeffery Stice of Illinois; and a great-niece, Jessica Stice of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Cynthia Stice.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Benton Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 6.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Denis Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in St. Denis Church Cemetery.
