Jim L. McCullough, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Missouri Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 9, 1936, at Allenville, Mo., son of James R. and Emogene E. Hurst McCullough. He and Joyce A. Bollinger McCullough were married June 12, 1971, in Chaffee, Mo.
McCullough served in the Army from 1960 to 1962. He was employed by Kroger Stores in Cape Girardeau and Murphysboro, Ill., for 47 years, retiring in 2002 as head dairy clerk. McCullough was a member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Branden (Beth) McCullough of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Mikkaela McCullough of St. Louis; three brothers, Jack McCullough of Las Vegas, Jerry (Sara) McCullough of Jackson, Joe (Debbie) McCullough of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with full military rites by the Missouri Honors Team.
