SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Thomas Boston, 76, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 3, 1926, in Sikeston, son of John C. and Nettie Ann Cauthran Boston. He and Dorothy Marie Gardner were married Oct. 4, 1947, in St. Louis.

Boston was a line superintendent with R.E.A. in Sikeston. He was a member of Miner Baptist Church.

He was a corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Diana Glaus and Judith Stewart of Cape Girardeau, Janette Thornsberry of Sullivan, Mo., Lori Romine of Cunningham, Ky.; a sister, Nellie Lambert of Sikeston; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. The Revs. Mitchell Jackson and Jim Barnhart will officiate. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
