Jewell Umfleet

MARSHFIELD, Mo. -- Jewell Fowler Umfleet of Marshfield was born July 30, 1929, in Advance, Missouri, to George and Bertie Pohlman Fowler. She departed this life Monday, April 15, 2019, in her home, at the age of 93.

Jewell was united in marriage to Herman E. Umfleet on Dec. 23, 1944.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. Wilson of Springfield, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Vickie V. Umfleet of Owasso, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Jill Davis of Marshfield and Lindsy Scott of Nixa, Missouri; great-granddaughters, Ashton Davis, Mollie Davis, Kyndal Davis and Samantha Scott; brother, Ralph Fowler of Advance; sister, Mildred (Fowler) James of Advance; and many other beloved family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman E. Umfleet, and son, David H. Umfleet.

Graveside service will be at a later date in Advance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marshfield Senior Center or Webster County Food Pantry, and left in care of Fraker Funeral Home Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
