Jewel Hutson

Jewel Elizabeth Hutson, 92, of Delta, formerly of Ridley Park, Pa., died peacefully Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Bertha and Cecil Ashby of Delta.

Jewel leaves behind to cherish her memory a granddaughter, Brenda Elizabeth Martin of Lewes, Del.; a grandson and wife, James A. Jr. and Paula Martin; and beloved great-granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Martin, all of Elkton, Md.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Hutson, and a daughter, Brenda Joyce Hutson.

Jewel was an avid painter, loved her craft projects and was an active member and volunteer at First Baptist Church of Delta. She loved spending time with her family and friends at their summer home in Charlestown Manor Beach, Md., before retiring and moving back to Missouri.

She will be missed by the many lives that she touched during her lifetime.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Delta.
