SIKESTON, Mo. -- Jessie Joseph Sauceda, 74, of Sikeston died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1927, in Nixon, Texas, son of Vidal and Susie Valdex Sauceda Sr.
Sauceda retired as a laborer with Holmes Farms at Oran, Mo.
Survivors include five sons, Robert Guzman of Oran, Anthony, Danny, Joseph and Johnny Sauceda, all of Sikeston; three daughters, Mary Berry of Conroe, Texas, Juanita Terry and Josie Sauceda of Sikeston.
Also surviving are four brothers, Elisio and Alex Sauceda of Oran, Raymond Sauceda of Dexter, Mo., Vidal Sauceda Jr. of Bell City, Mo.; seven sisters, Josephine Moreno of Nixon, Josie Turner and Emma Guzman of Oran, Mary Brown and Lupe Freeze of Holly Springs, Miss., Betty Guzman of Sikeston, Dora Graham of Canalou, Mo.; a friend, Sophia Martinez of Sikeston; 39 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, and two brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
