BELL CITY -- Jessie Mae Foster, 96, of Bell City, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1994, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1898, in Dale, Ill., daughter of William and Laura Vickers Wheeler. She and Jesse Foster were married Feb. 24, 1917, at Bell City. He died April 11, 1986.

Foster was a charter member of the United Methodist Church here, and member of its Women's Society of Christian Service.

Survivors include three sons, Carl Foster of Omaha, Neb., James Foster of Tulsa, Okla., Kenneth Foster of Bell City; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4-8 p.m. today, and at the United Methodist Church in Bell City after noon Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Doyle Burke officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near here.
