WILSON CITY -- Jessie Brown, 70, of Wilson City, died Thursday, May 19, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Luxora, Ark., son of Levi and Lizzie Medley Brown. He and Florence Crenshaw were married May 30, 1944.
Brown was a retired farmer, and member of Holly Grove Baptist Church at Wyatt.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jessie Jr. and James Brown of Wyatt, Harold Brown of Detroit, Mich.; four daughters, Norma Johnson of Chicago, Cindy Mathis and Ruby Mootry of Detroit, Louise Davis of Darien, Ill.; 18 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holly Grove Church, with the Rev. T.R. Tyus officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
