Jesse J. Reddick, 87, of Jackson died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Orville Vincent and Grace Hawthorne Reddick.

Jesse and Patricia Pope were married April 5, 1970, at Scott City.

He was an avid fisherman and lifetime St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also coached baseball in Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Scott City.

He was a member and deacon of First General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Reddick of Jackson; sons, Joe (Jodie) Reddick of Jackson, Richard Wayne (Carol) Reddick of Cape Girardeau, Mike (Kris) Reddick of Springfield, Missouri, and Jim McCulley of Oklahoma City; sister, Grace Anne (Dallum) Pettus of Bonne Terre; brother, Roy (Karen) Reddick of Columbia, Missouri; grandchildren, Reva Birk, Alaina Reddick, Brad Reddick, Kasey Reddick, Ryan Reddick, Melissa Hughes, Jennifer Stitt, Morgan McCulley and Lucas McCulley; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Ramdial officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to First General Baptist Church.
