JESSE CHARLES BRUCE JR.

JACKSON -- Jesse Charles Bruce Jr., 44, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Rock Island, Ill., son of Jesse and Anna Dell Kelly Bruce. He was a truck driver for Mid-America Dairy of Jackson.

On March 20, 1969, he married Linda Hamilton of Jackson. She survives. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

He is survived by his mother, of Jackson; a son, Jason Bruce of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Rhonda Smith and Kimberly Martin of Cape Girardeau, and Wendy Hicks of Chaffee; one brother, Steve Bruce of Jackson; four sisters, Jacqueline Gerry of Jefferson City, Dorothy Schroeder of Cape Girardeau, and Pat Rosanna and Lisa McCall of Jackson; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Cracraft-Miller Chapel in Jackson. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Jerry Gowins officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery.
