JESSE ARDELL MCDANIEL

TAMMS, Ill. -- Jesse Ardell McDaniel, 60, of Tamms, Ill. died Saturday, April 11, 1992, at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

He was born Oct. 9, 1931 in Tamms, the son of Jesse Roosevelt McDaniel and Luci Margaret Dennis McDaniel.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and a retired laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Calvin McDaniel, Tamms; two sons, Jimmy and Ricky McDaniel, both of Tamms; two daughters, Susan Honey and Nancy Rarrick, both of Tamms; and three grandchildren.

One daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms with the Rev. Gene Hart officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola. Military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post of Anna.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
