PERRYVILLE -- Jesse Anton Robinson, 90, of Perryville died at Perry Oaks Health Center in Perryville Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997.

He was born at Perryville Oct. 6, 1906, son of Andrew and Sophia Schremp Robinson.

Robinson had worked as a cab driver with the Black-And-White Cab Co. in St. Louis.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. He was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by a son, Thomas Robinson of St. Louis; a daughter, Jacqueline Steward of O'Fallon, Mo.; three brothers, Ed Robinson, Clarence Robinson and Lawrence Robinson, all of Perryville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Chapel in Perryville, with the Rev. Willis Darling, C.M., officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
