JACKSON, Mo. -- Jerry Wayne Statler, 52, of Sikeston died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Oct. 17, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of John and Willie Minton Statler. JACKSON, Mo. -- Jerry Wayne Statler, 52, of Sikeston died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 17, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of John and Willie Minton Statler.

Statler had resided on the family farm near Jackson and worked at VIP Industries for several years before moving to Sikeston Regional Care Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson.

Survivors include his parents, of Jackson; and a sister, Marie Reisenbichler of Pocahontas.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
