Jerry F. Riehn, 62, of Millersville passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003, at his home.
He was born Aug. 23, 1940, at Millersville, son of John F. and Sarah E. Niswonger Riehn. He and Marilyn M. Smith were married Nov. 26, 1960.
Jerry was a carpenter more than 30 years and worked many years for Riehn Construction. He retired in 2001 due to ill health, but continued to work on his own as he could. He was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church.
Loving survivors include his wife, Marilyn; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tina Riehn of Millersville; a brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Betty Riehn of Jackson; a sister, Betty L. Williamson of Jackson; a grandson, John Riehn of Millersville; five nieces and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Hobert and John Riehn.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rocky Tallent officiating. Burial will be in Niswonger Cemetery near Millersville.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Niswonger Cemetery Fund or Caney Fork Baptist Church.
