Jerry Dean Huckstep, 69, of Scott City died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 3, 1945, in Cape Girardeau. He and Jacqueline "Jackie" Hanner were married July 11, 1977, in Jackson.

Jerry served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of IBEW Union Local 1. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Huckstep; a son, Timothy "Tim" Huckstep; and three grandchildren, Dillan Huckstep, Brianna Huckstep and Joel Huckstep, all of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
