JERRY DEAN MCNEELY

JACKSON -- Jerry Dean McNeely, 61, of Arnold, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1911 at his home.

He was born Dec. 23, 1930 at Vanduser, son of Guy and Estle Hawkins McNeely.

He married the former Mary Johnson at Cape Girardeau. She survives.

He worked several years at Marquette Cement Company in Cape Girardeau and then transferred to Alpa Cement Company in Arnold.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jerry McNeely and Steve McNeely, both of Arnold; three brothers, George McNeely and Lewis McNeely, both of Jackson, Russell McNeely, Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Carrie Darter, Juanita Schwab, and Hannah Farrow, all of Cape Girardeau, Marie Bollinger, Mt. Home, Idaho, Fern Tripp, High Ridge; nine grandchildren.

Three brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call today from 2-9 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home in Lemay.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in a St. Louis cemetery.
