ANNA, Ill. -- Jerome T. Treece, 80, of Anna died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at his home. He was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Union County, the son of Lorren and Elvena Thorne Treece. He married Lova Vaughn in Vienna on Aug. 3, 1934. Treece was employed by Choate Mental Health Center and retired in 1976...

ANNA, Ill. -- Jerome T. Treece, 80, of Anna died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Union County, the son of Lorren and Elvena Thorne Treece. He married Lova Vaughn in Vienna on Aug. 3, 1934.

Treece was employed by Choate Mental Health Center and retired in 1976.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Don Treece of Anna; a brother, Cecil Treece of Anna; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters and four sisters.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Hileman & Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. A.W. Landis will officiate, and burial will be in the Casper Cemetery.
