Jerome "Butch" Dannenmueller, 75, of Scott City died Monday, May 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born March 16, 1946, in Oran, Missouri, to Cornelius and Marie Jansen Dannenmueller. He married Martha Jane Menz on June 3, 1967. She preceded him in death Nov. 9, 2010.
He worked in maintenance for Foamex. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, the Oran Knights of Columbus and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Wappapello, Missouri.
Jerome is survived by two sons, Wayne (Robin) Dannenmueller of Scott City and Scott (Brenda) Dannenmueller of Chaffee, Missouri; two daughters, Carrie (Scott) Hicks of New Albany, Mississippi, and Brandi (Kaed) Horrell of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Jim (Vicky) Dannenmueller of Oran; Michael Dannenmueller of Fulton, Missouri; Mark Dannenmueller of Wappapello; and Buddy Dannenmueller of Oran; three sisters, Pat (Terry) Glenzy of Chaffee, Susie Melton of Wappapello and Carolyn (Rickey) Smith of Oran; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Dannenmueller; and special niece and nephew, Cheryl and Dylan.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Michael Casteel officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Arbor.
