JACKSON -- JerLee Irene Eggimann, 60, of Jackson died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born June 27, 1938, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Lee Gus and Irene Boren Steeg Sr. She and Glen Eggimann were married Oct. 13, 1956, at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville.

Mrs. Eggimann attended Gordonville and Jackson schools. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Eggimann had worked at International Shoe Co., Lee-Rowan Co., Pioneer Orchard, G&G Furniture, and Wille's Bakery, all in Jackson. She had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson since 1969.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jeff Eggimann and Barry Eggimann, both of Jackson; a daughter, Connie Brown of Jackson; her mother, Irene Steeg of Jackson; a brother, Lee Steeg Jr. of Jackson; two sisters, Janet Lowes of Cape Girardeau, Betty Crites of Sikeston; three grandchildren, Tyler Eggimann, Matthew Brown, and Jennifer Brown, all of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund or Southeast Hospice.
