Jeretta W. "Jeri" Wills, 74, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 18, 1947, in Fifty Six, Arkansas, to the late Wayne and Viola Bowman Holt. She and James Wills Sr. were married in 1971 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Jeretta was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved camping, boating and fishing, and most of all, she enjoyed yard selling.
Loving survivors include her husband, James Sr.; a son, James Wills Jr. (Crista Meyer) of Oak Ridge; three daughters, Gidget Ridgway, also of Oak Ridge, Dee Knight (Jerry) of Commerce, Missouri, and Loresa Willis of Cushman, Arkansas; a sister, Joyce Carvalho of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Matthew Wills and Shane and Joseph Knight; and a great-grandson, Memphis Asher Ridgway.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Ricky Holt; a sister, Nolene Chism; a grandson, John Ridgway; and a granddaughter, Natashia Ridgway.
There are no services at this time.
McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson was entrusted with Jeretta's arrangements.
