BENTON, Mo. -- Jeremy Nigel Reeves, 35, of Benton died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in Scott County.
He was born June 18, 1978, in Santa Ana, Calif., to Gregory T. and Sheilah Lynn Bowers Reeves. He and Kelly Dawn Tompkins were married Oct. 8, 2011, at Branson, Mo.
Jeremy was a salesman with Missouri Tractor Parts in Sikeston, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly; his father, Gregory (Carrie) Reeves of San Antonio; his mother, Sheilah (Steven) Enderle of Chaffee, Mo.; three daughters, Lexie Jo Reeves of Scott City, Natalie and Madison Renfroe of Benton; a son, Nicholas Renfroe of Benton; a brother, Nicholas (Kate) Reeves of San Antonio; a sister, Shannon (John) Bening of Jackson; maternal grandparents, Estel and Betty Bowers of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandmother, Judith Wagoner of San Antonio; a nephew, Leighton Duerksen; and a niece, Sydney Wiggins.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, with full military honors.
