NEW MADRID -- Jennie Lee Hatley, 62, of New Madrid died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Jan. 13, 1937, in Columbia, daughter of Frank S. and Jennie L. Weidinger Jurgensmeyer. She and Charles C. Hatley Sr. were married Aug. 17, 1957, in Columbia.
Hatley was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, member of and past president of Ladies Golf Association, and past president of New Madrid Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dr. Charles Hatley Jr. of Columbia, Major Stephen Hatley of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Nancy Browne of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Frank Jurgensmeyer of Florissant, Richard Jurgensmeyer of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Enenbach of Overland Park, Kan., Marge Matta of Chesterfield; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Richards Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 6.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Church, with the Rev. Mike Swalina officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
