Jeffrey Lynn Keim, 45, of Whitewater passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at his home.
Born on Sept. 5, 1969, in Hannibal, Missouri, he was the son of Edward Henry and Helen Callaghan Keim. He married Robin Lynn Knutson on March 16, 2007, at Zion Methodist Church near Gordonville. She survives.
Jeff worked as a deckhand on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers riverboat Pathfinder. He was an outdoor lover and enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting. He was of the Catholic faith.
Besides his wife, survivors include two children, Ashley and D.J. Keim, both of Leopold, Missouri, and three brothers, Eddie (Dianna) Keim, Dennis (Martha) Keim and and Greg (Kathy) Keim, all of Hannibal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri. A prayer service is scheduled at 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Coon will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery at Leopold.
