ZALMA, Mo. -- Funeral for Jeff D. Pack of Zalma will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Bill Sargent and the Rev. James Johns will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be at 7:30.

Pack, 93, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 5, 1907, in Walcott, Ark., son of Elizah and Elizabeth Doyle Pack. He and Violet Abernathy were married Jan. 18, 1941, in St. Louis. She died Oct. 9, 1996.

Pack worked for SunKist School in Orange County, Calif. He was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 545 in Zalma, Scottish Rite and Puxico VFW Post.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was stationed aboard the KitKundy 27 months.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Pack of Anaheim, Calif.; two daughters, Darlene Mouw of Norwalk, Calif., Jean D'Amico of Cypress, Calif.; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.
