SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Jeanette Sneed of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Broadway United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim King will officiate, with burial in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Sneed, 77, died Tuesday, March 14, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 6, 1918, at Fornfelt, daughter of Erskine and Edna Proffer Miller. She and Ollie Sneed were married Jan. 7, 1937. He died Feb. 4, 1958.
Sneed retired as a machine operator with Ely Walker. She was a member of Broadway Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Ralph Miller of Scott City, Marvin Miller of Eldon, Francis Miller of Altenburg; four sisters, Janie Starnes of Harrisburg, Ill., Geneva Godwin of Moline, Ill., Mary Parmer of Cape Girardeau, and Christine McGhee of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
