CAIRO, Ill. -- Letsey Jean Whitaker, 59, of Cairo died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Tupelo, Miss., daughter of Winford and Ula Glasgow. Whitaker was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Adams of Cairo; three sisters, Nadine Pannell, Brenda Hitchcock and Peggy McVay of Pontotoc, Miss.; a brother, Quay Glasgow of Randolph, Miss.; and three grandsons...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Letsey Jean Whitaker, 59, of Cairo died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, at her home.

She was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Tupelo, Miss., daughter of Winford and Ula Glasgow.

Whitaker was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Adams of Cairo; three sisters, Nadine Pannell, Brenda Hitchcock and Peggy McVay of Pontotoc, Miss.; a brother, Quay Glasgow of Randolph, Miss.; and three grandsons.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge.
