WOLF ISLAND -- Funeral for J.D. Woods of Wolf Island will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. LeRoy Thornton will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Woods, 56, died Monday, May 1, 2000, at his home.

He was born March 22, 1944, in East Prairie, son of A.D. and Johnnie Frye Woods.

Woods was a farmer.

Survivors include four sons, Nathan and Brad Woods of Kewanee, Jerome Woods of Lilbourn, Cedric Woods of Farrenberg; four brothers, Kenneth Woods of Wolf Island, Jim Woods and Donald Smith of Sikeston, Richard Smith of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Helen Wynn of Galveston, Texas, Mary Williamections:

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Glenna M. Sauerbrunn, 78, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Giraralem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Sauerbrunn of Gilbert, Ariz.; a daughter, Deborah Sweitzer of Cobden; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today, and Thursday at Salem Lutheran Church from 11 a.m. until service time.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with David Eidson officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
