CHARLESTON -- J.C. "Bo" Tatum, 70, of Wyatt died Friday, May 7, 1999, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.
He was born June 15, 1928, in Deventer, son of James Morgan and Mae Sams Tatum.
He married Loretta Nunn in 1952. She died Oct. 3, 1969.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Steve Tatum of Charleston; a daughter, Vicki Owen of Diehlstadt; two brothers, James Tatum of Anniston and Charles Tatum of East Prairie; two sisters, Lavern Jones of Anniston and Melody Sikes of Cuba; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at I.O.O.F. Cemetery north of Charleston, with the Rev. Kenneth Gibson officiating.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
