Jayne Smith

Jayne Smith, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 21, 1946, in Macon, Missouri, to Russell and Juanita Maupin Boleach. She married Mac Smith on July 4, 1964.

Jayne was loved and admired by all who knew her. She worked for 24 years at Gastroenterology Associates of Southeast Missouri.

She is survived by her husband, Mac of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Jason Smith and wife Tricia of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Shannon Smith of Cape Girardeau and Jeremy Smith and wife Lesley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two granddaughters, Kylie Jane Smith and Alexa Renee Smith, both of Fort Wayne; one brother, Larry Boleach and wife Linda of Kirksville, Missouri; and nieces, a nephew, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may gather from 4 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chris Clifton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
