ESSEX, Mo. -- Jasper J. Triplett, 82, of Essex died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.
He was born Nov. 23, 1918, at Essex, son of Charles and Nell Williamson Triplett. He and Allean Hunt were married March 27, 1950, at Bernie, Mo.
Triplett lived in Essex all his life. He worked at Himmelberger-Harrison Manufacturing Co. at Morehouse, Mo. He was a member of South Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church near Dexter.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carolyn Taul of St. Charles, Mo.; two brothers, C.N. Triplett of Essex, Dennis Triplett of St. Charles; three sisters, Adalee Schell of Sandusky, Mich., Nelene Dunn of Springfield, Mo., Phyllis Snider of Pekin, Ill.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.
