McCLURE, Ill. Jason Jacobs, 18, of McClure, died Sunday, March 10, 1991 as a result of a traffic accident. He was born Feb. 17, 1973 in Cape Girardeau, son of Jerry Lee and Joann Phillips Jacobs, who both survive of McClure. McCLURE, Ill. Jason Jacobs, 18, of McClure, died Sunday, March 10, 1991 as a result of a traffic accident.

He was born Feb. 17, 1973 in Cape Girardeau, son of Jerry Lee and Joann Phillips Jacobs, who both survive of McClure.

He was a senior at Shawnee High School, a member of the FFA chapter, and a member of the Bow Hunters Club in Cape Girardeau. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his maternal grandfather, Stanley Phillips of Tamms, Ill.; his paternal grandparents, Johnny and Leota Butcher of Thebes, Ill.; and his maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Phillips of Tamms.

Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Vernon Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Lindsey Cemetery.
