McCLURE, Ill. Jason Jacobs, 18, of McClure, died Sunday, March 10, 1991 as a result of a traffic accident.
He was born Feb. 17, 1973 in Cape Girardeau, son of Jerry Lee and Joann Phillips Jacobs, who both survive of McClure.
He was a senior at Shawnee High School, a member of the FFA chapter, and a member of the Bow Hunters Club in Cape Girardeau. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his maternal grandfather, Stanley Phillips of Tamms, Ill.; his paternal grandparents, Johnny and Leota Butcher of Thebes, Ill.; and his maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Phillips of Tamms.
Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Vernon Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Lindsey Cemetery.
