Janice Proctor

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Janice C. Proctor, 74, of Perryville died Nov. 18, 2016, at Estates of Perryville in Perryville.

She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Claryville, Missouri, daughter of Leroy and Rita (L'Hote) Giesler.

She had worked in civil service for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Phoenix.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the National Association of Federal Retired Employees (NAFRE).

Survivors include daughter Rhonda Hanson and her husband, Michael, of Saginaw, Texas; one brother, Don Giesler of Perryville; one granddaughter, Candice Davenport; and two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Curtis Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William "Billy"; and one brother, Daryl Giesler.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Mary, Missouri, with Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.

Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
