JANICE BURNES

NEW MADRID -- Funeral for Janice Faye Burnes of New Madrid will be held at 10 a.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Scott Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery at Matthews.

Burnes, 40, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in an automobile accident near Portageville.

She was born Jan. 2, 1959, in Sikeston, daughter of Wilmer and Velda Finley McClain. She and Steve Burnes were married March 21, 1987, at Matthews.

Burnes was a member of New Life Ministries Church. Survivors include her mother of Morehouse; two brothers, Clarence McClain of Malden, Danny McClain of Blanchard, Okla.; two sisters, Anita Cox of Del Rio, Texas, and Doris Davidson of Morehouse.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
