COBDEN, Ill. -- Graveside service for Janette Williams of Portola, Calif., was held May 5 at Whispering Pines Cemetery near Portola.
Williams, 65, died Friday, April 28, 1995, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nev.
She was born May 10, 1929, in Cobden, daughter of Albert and Ethel Hall High.
Williams was a volunteer with Plumas District Hospital Auxiliary, and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Williams of Portola; a daughter, Marsha Fife of Portola; five sisters, Bernice Bilderback of Alto Pass, Pat Anderson of Carterville, Jean Harrison of Marion, Alberta Gearhart of Peotone, Shirley Morrison of Cobden; two brothers, Bob High of Marion, and Joe High of Kimberling City, Mo.
