Janet Sue "Jan" Milde, 68, of Jackson passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. She was born May 18, 1947, in Anna, Illinois, daughter to Charles Clifford and Gladys Hazel Doggett Lilly Sr. Janet graduated from Central High School in Cape Girardeau. Janet Sue "Jan" Milde, 68, of Jackson passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015.

She was born May 18, 1947, in Anna, Illinois, daughter to Charles Clifford and Gladys Hazel Doggett Lilly Sr.

Janet graduated from Central High School in Cape Girardeau. She was employed many years at Mildefarms Inc., where she took great care in bottle feeding the replacement heifers on the family farm. She later became a CNA at local nursing homes and did in-home health care in the Cape Girardeau County area. She also volunteered in the gift shop at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She served as a leader for Brownies and Girl Scouts and Oak Grove 4-H Club. She was a teacher's aide at Immaculate Conception Catholic Grade School in Jackson while her children attended.

Survivors include two sons, Craig M. and Blane M. Milde of Jackson; a daughter, Leeann B. (Marco) Otten of Jackson; a brother, James H. Lilly of Florida; and two grandsons, Zachary Thomas Chapman and Xander Otten.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; and a brother, Charles C. Lilly Jr.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Memorials may be made to charities with a mission of serving children.
