Janet Faye Maevers, 75, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ben and Nora Davenport Sadler. Janet and Charley Williams were married in July 1954 in South Carolina. He passed away July 13, 1984. She and Ron Maevers were married May 16, 1980...

Janet Faye Maevers, 75, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ben and Nora Davenport Sadler. Janet and Charley Williams were married in July 1954 in South Carolina. He passed away July 13, 1984. She and Ron Maevers were married May 16, 1980.

Janet was of the Baptist belief. She had worked at several different factories.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Donnie Williams of Advance, Missouri, Ronnie (Marsha) Williams of Scott City, and Charley (Rusty) Williams of Memphis, Tennessee; two daughters, Darllis (Vernice) Stevens of Dudley, Missouri, Teresa (Wayne) Pronschinske of Arcadia, Wisconsin; two guardian sons, David Stevens of Memphis, Zech Bardezbain of Clayton, Kentucky; three stepdaughters, Kaci Ngega of Lincoln, Nebraska, Kathi (Ben) Beyer and Kara D. (Chris) Hoffman of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; a brother, Joe Sadler of East Peoria, Illinois; a sister, Joyce Stein of Marshfield, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Williams of Dalton, Alabama; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Rodney and Bennie Williams; a grandson; and nine brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
