CHARLESTON -- Jane Kirstine Nelson, 95, of Charleston died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, at Bertrand Nursing Facility. She was born June 4, 1903, in Denmark. She came to the United States at a young age, and had lived in Charleston since 1982. She married Alfred Peter Nelson, who died July 22, 1984...

CHARLESTON -- Jane Kirstine Nelson, 95, of Charleston died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.

She was born June 4, 1903, in Denmark. She came to the United States at a young age, and had lived in Charleston since 1982. She married Alfred Peter Nelson, who died July 22, 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred Nelson of Jupiter, Fla., Stan Nelson of Charleston; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

There is no visitation or service. Burial will be at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home at Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
