Jane Marie Evans, 59, of St. Louis, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri, died June 27, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, following a nine-year battle with cancer.
Born on March 20, 1955, in Hayti, Missouri, to the late Frank E. and Betty Lou Chappell Grimm, she was a homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of First Christian Church in Sikeston. On Jan. 10, 1975, in Benton, Missouri, she married J.C. Evans, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons, Kent Householder (and Kally Coleman) of St. Louis and Clay Evans of Paducah, Kentucky; and one daughter, Leslie Evans (and Brandon Scheldt) of Farmington, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service at First Christian Church in Sikeston.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. at the church in Sikeston, with the Rev. Randy Cook officiating.
