Jamie Staten

Jamie Staten, 23, of San Antonio, Texas, died Monday, April 24, 2006, in San Antonio.

She was born Feb. 17, 1983, in Rathway, N.J., daughter of Wayne and Sandi Kachel. She married Michael Staten.

Staten lived most of her life in San Antonio, and had also lived in New Jersey, California, and Tennessee. She was a graduate of Clark High School.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jeremy and Brandon; and her parents, formerly of Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at University United Methodist Church in San Antonio, with the Rev. Greg Robertson officiating.

Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio is in charge of arrangements.
