MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- James William Tucker, 90, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at Elder Care in Marble Hill.
He was born Aug. 6, 1911, at Kennett, Mo., son of Elmer and Luvina Collins Tucker. He and Dorothy M. Baker were married Feb. 25, 1961.
Tucker was a retired factory worker, and member of Point Pleasant General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Melvin Tucker of Columbia, Ill., Bill Tucker of Piedmont, Mo., James Tucker of East Carondelet, Ill., Rick Tucker of Kennett; four daughters, Eulene Cover of Dupo, Ill., Eva Little of Piedmont, Margarette Sweaney of Kennett, Caroletta Pryer of Marble Hill; 25 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery near Cane Creek.
