Funeral for James Robinson of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.
Robinson, 69, died Thursday, March 25, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born April 17, 1929, son of Jessie and Molly Brachit Robinson.
Robinson had been a presser at the cotton gin in New Madrid, and had also worked for several Southeast Missouri farmers. He was a member of Liberty Community Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Methan Jones of Kansas City, Kan.; five sisters, Gladys Payne and Vetra Fuller of Cape Girardeau, Violet Johnson of Biggers, Ark., Loirren Warren of Covington, Tenn., and Helen Robinson of Kansas City, Mo.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
