James Eldon "Jimmy" Reddick Jr., 62, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 26, 1953, in Camp Atterbury, Indiana, the son of James Eldon and Luanna Martin Reddick Sr. He and Jan Rhodes were married Aug. 19, 2009, in Cape Girardeau.
Jimmy was a professional musician, playing the guitar.
Loving survivors include his wife, Jan; his mother, Luanna Reddick of Washington, Missouri; two sons, James Paul Smith and Johnny Smith both of Florida; stepdaughters, Antarez Smith of Florida, Ladonna Hale of Cape Girardeau and Erin Kluesner of Commerce, Missouri; a stepson, Daniel Coonts (Misty) of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Jeff Reddick of Imperial, Missouri; a sister, Laura Jackson (Darrell) of Washington; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father James Reddick Sr., and a stepson, Janssen Coonts.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bruce Baxter officiating.
Interment will follow at Old Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
