James Ralph Snider, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 3, 1923, at Allenville to Emory and Eva Waddle Snider.
On July 3, 1945, he married Viola Hahn.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his mother and his wife, both of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Robert J. Snider and Thomas R. Snider, both of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Virginia Wallace of Maryland Heights.
Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at Ford and Sons Funeral Home Sprigg Street Chapel. Service is at 10 a.m., with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
