CARBONDALE, Ill. -- James Robert Moon, 83, of Carbondale died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, at Rosewood Health Care Center in East Peoria, Ill. He was born June 8, 1912, in Springfield, Tenn., the son of Ewing G. and Eva L. Higdon Moon. Survivors include a son, Richard Moon of North Pekin; a sister, Mary Allen of Cobden; four brothers, Harvey Moon of Carbondale, and Joseph, Curtis and Norman Moon, all of Indiana; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren...
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- James Robert Moon, 83, of Carbondale died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, at Rosewood Health Care Center in East Peoria, Ill.
He was born June 8, 1912, in Springfield, Tenn., the son of Ewing G. and Eva L. Higdon Moon.

Survivors include a son, Richard Moon of North Pekin; a sister, Mary Allen of Cobden; four brothers, Harvey Moon of Carbondale, and Joseph, Curtis and Norman Moon, all of Indiana; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Cobden Cemetery.
